How to merge two photos in photoshop cs3 extended version?

    In youtube videos,when they are opening the second picture, it is opening as a new layer but in my photoshop it is openin

    To merge two images into one image you need to highlight the two images in the side panel next push & hold ctrl + e (with out the + plus key)

    so to break it down step by step it goes likes this.

    1.) Highlight the two images in the side panel
    2.) push ctrl & e
    3.) your two images will be merged.
