hey i can see you have a very nice tc supercharged, i have a 07 tc as well supercharged but my bearing went bad i would appreciate if you could tell me what type of bearing i need to buy to replace them since i already have the shop that is going to press them out but they told me they would only do it until i buy the bearings and i dont have an idea of where to get them, i already went to dealer and they called trd and said they dont sell the part. If you could tell me where to buy the bearing you would make my day, by the picture you have i have the same s/c, have a good one cheers!

can we do a featured article on your car

I will be more than happy to help you get a game plan on for your ride. First, I need to know what exactly it is that you want your car to be short-term and where you want it to be long-term. That way we can get you setup on the right mods without duplicating efforts saving you cash. Start off by reading all of the stickies in every thread section. Not too many but they provide the most valuable information. As far as the STS, I can get you hooked up with a high quality on the transmission STS that is easy to install, more effective, and cost effective than traditional shifter based STS units.

Actually the Squadron is an FTS C-130T Unit. The first of the Reserve Herc Squadrons. Thanks for the compliments. Even though I can shoot quite accurately from the hip (I am a Texan ya know), I believe in only providing our Members with accurate and concise data. Unfortunately, I can't add "timely" to that mantra anymore.

I will have to PM you later about the rest as I am about to fly off back Stateside from the Big Sand Box. Hot damn!!!!!

ok...that's cool.. Growlers right? I've only seen one so far. Before FRC I was in VAW 120 so sometimes they'd land on the flight line. btw nice car. I don't really get on the site much...but from what i've noticed in forums..when it comes to advice you're one of the very few people who seem to be very knowledgable. And if you don't know it off hand you'll do the research to find it out instead of shooting from the hip. Good on you. Now I know you probably get this a lot...but I'd like to ask your opinion on modding my tc. I know you're not in VA so I don't have to worry about your TC blowing past mine. My intention is to make it one of the quickest in the area. My plan is to turbo it...but, I wanna do a little to the transmission and drivetrain first. I'm looking at flywheels clutch kits and short shifters, possibly even pulleys before I go ahead with the turbo.... Do you have any input on what would be the best for my TC. It's an 06.

      Hey,
I'm Alex and I have been asking a few questions and have found it difficult to find accurate information. I have consistently noticed the accuracy of much of your input in posts and would like some help on an issue.
I have a 2007 Scion tC with the TRD s/c. I want to get a 55mm pulley and find the proper fitting belt, as well as getting an intake made that would be good with the s/c. I also want to get either a custom dyno tuned chip installed or a custom dyno tuned piggy back ECU installed. I dont know any companies that make chips for the tC. I also would like to remove the speed limiter, but I dont know if we have fuel-cut or ignition-cut. Also (again) i would like to put some low compression pistons and good t/c-s/c cams and titanium valves and high-rpm capable valve-train components installed. Can you guide me in the right direction please? any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hey bro its Scott, I have a huge favor to ask of you. I know your very busy with the military right now, but I posted a forum about (Aston Martin Hoods for the Scion tC), would make sure that this post gets proper attention and so more people know about it. I also think it may interest you as well. Thank you so much and thank you for being a great friend!

Well, thanks. It has been a while. The Site owner makes those news items and they are way out of date. I have been on him about this. My Son is strong and healthy at 16lbs and over 6months old. Good thing as I am overseas for a time. Children are a Blessing from God. As much as I like the freedom that one has being single, I will always choose to be a family man.

Yes. I bought them from Jotech. Don't remember what brand. They are 6K H7 units.

Finally brought my tC back from storage at my Brother's in Texas. I have some work to do on clean the paint up. Time to finish up on some of my mods for this project.

How much more power does a turbo give over the SC? Are there any advantages in one over the other??
